Catching the Haramain Train from Madinah
- Plan to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your train leaves.
- With 20 to 40 minutes of driving, leave your hotel about 1¼ hours before departure.
- For the return trip, your driver meets you in the station parking area.
The Haramain train takes about 2 to 2½ hours to Makkah, and a Makkah train station taxi takes 15 to 30 minutes between the station and most hotels there.

A private Toyota Camry costs 120 SAR from your hotel to the station and 150 SAR from the station to your hotel. A Hyundai Staria (7 passengers) is 200 SAR either way, a Toyota Hiace (10–12 passengers) 300 SAR, a GMC Yukon (6 passengers) 350 SAR, a 22-seat Toyota Coaster 400 SAR to the station or 450 SAR from it, and a 49-seat bus 500 SAR to the station or 550 SAR from it. Fares can be higher in Ramadan, December and January.

How early should I leave for my train?
Arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your train leaves. With the drive, leave your hotel about 1¼ hours before departure.

When do I pay?
Most pilgrims pay in cash or online after the ride. You can also pay in advance if you prefer.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. Changes and cancellations are free up to 24 hours before your pickup time. Message us on WhatsApp to change the date, time or vehicle.
Is a taxi to Makkah an option instead of the train?
Yes. A Madinah to Makkah taxi goes hotel to hotel in about 4½ to 5 hours, and a Toyota Camry costs 500 SAR.
