A private taxi from Jeddah to Madinah takes about 4 to 4½ hours for the roughly 420 km drive. Zam Zam Umrah Taxi picks you up at any terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport, or at your hotel in Jeddah, and drives you straight to your hotel in Madinah. A Toyota Camry costs 500 SAR per vehicle for up to 4 passengers, in either direction. You can pay in cash or online after the ride. Most pilgrims who land in Jeddah take a Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi first, about 1 to 1½ hours away, but if your trip starts in Madinah, we drive you there directly.

Jeddah Airport to Madinah: How Pickup Works

1

Book

Book on WhatsApp or online. Send your flight number, arrival date and time, your Madinah hotel, and the number of passengers and bags.

2

Get driver details

We confirm your booking and send your driver’s name, phone number and car details.

3

We track your flight

Your driver tracks your flight, so a delay does not mean a missed pickup. Free waiting time is 40 to 60 minutes after landing, which covers most immigration and baggage queues. If you expect a longer delay, message us on WhatsApp.

4

Find your driver

Your driver sends you a short video showing exactly where they are waiting, then helps you with your luggage. We pick up from every terminal at Jeddah Airport, including the new Terminal 4 that opened in September 2026.

5

Drive to Madinah

You drive directly to Madinah. Tell your driver if you would like a short stop for prayer or rest.

6

Arrive and pay

You are dropped at the entrance of your hotel in Madinah. Pay in cash or online after the ride, or in advance if you prefer. Many pilgrims book a Madinah Ziyarat taxi for their first morning, visiting Quba Mosque, Mount Uhud and Masjid al-Qiblatain.

Jeddah Hotel to Madinah Hotel Taxi

Staying in Jeddah first? Your driver collects you at your hotel entrance and waits up to 20 minutes free. The fare is the same as from the airport.

Madinah to Jeddah Airport or Jeddah Hotel

Fares on the way back are the same, except the Toyota Hiace at 700 SAR. For an international flight, plan to leave your Madinah hotel about 7 hours before departure: about 4 to 4½ hours of driving, plus the 3 hours airlines recommend at the airport. Your driver meets you at your hotel entrance and drops you at your airport terminal or Jeddah hotel. Many pilgrims then take a Madinah to Makkah taxi for Umrah, a drive of about 4½ to 5 hours.

If your flight home leaves from Madinah instead, a Madinah hotel to airport taxi takes only 20 to 30 minutes.
