Umrah Ziyarat Service in Makkah: Places You Visit
Jabal al-Nour and Cave Hira
This is the mountain where the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet in Cave Hira. On the tour you stop at the foot of the mountain. The climb itself is not part of the tour.
Jabal Thawr
The mountain where the Prophet and Abu Bakr hid in a cave for three nights during the Hijrah to Madinah. You see it from the road and make a stop nearby.
Mina
The valley of tents where pilgrims stay during Hajj. You pass the Jamarat, where the stoning of the pillars takes place, and Masjid al-Khayf.
Muzdalifah
Where Hajj pilgrims spend the night under the open sky and collect pebbles. Masjid al-Mashar al-Haram stands here.
Arafat and Jabal al-Rahmah
The plain where pilgrims stand on the Day of Arafah, the most important day of Hajj, and the small hill nearby where the Prophet gave his Farewell Sermon. You also pass Masjid Namirah.
Canal of Zubaidah
The remains of the water channel built in the time of Zubaidah, wife of Caliph Harun al-Rashid, to bring water to pilgrims.
Jannat al-Mualla
The old cemetery of Makkah, where Khadijah, the first wife of the Prophet, is buried.
Masjid al-Jinn
Built where, according to tradition, a group of jinn listened to the Prophet reciting the Quran.
