A family of 7 in a Staria pays 350 SAR for Jeddah Airport → Makkah, 600 SAR for Makkah → Madinah and 200 SAR for Madinah hotel → Madinah Airport, 1,150 SAR in total, about 165 SAR per person. A joint family of 12 in a Hiace pays 450 + 700 + 300 = 1,450 SAR, about 120 SAR per person.

Flights from Pakistan cross the miqat before landing in Jeddah, so most pilgrims put on ihram at home or at the airport and make the niyyah on the plane when the crew announces the miqat. If you go to Madinah first, you enter ihram at Abyar Ali (Dhul Hulayfah); on every Madinah to Makkah taxi the driver stops there for 30–40 minutes.
Many Pakistani families visit Badar on the way from Madinah to Makkah instead of making a separate trip. The car first stops at the miqat at Abyar Ali so you can enter ihram, then at the battlefield and the graves of the martyrs of Badr, and takes you to your Makkah hotel.
